Wicked Wonders invites you to a spine-chilling Halloween photography event like no other. Unveil the mysteries behind hauntingly beautiful portraits and six complex, detailed eerie sets that transcend you into another realm. This is your chance to capture the essence of fear and fascination through a photograph.

For photographers, it’s a chance to craft mesmerizing dark visuals. For models, it is an invitation to transform into ethereal beings and immerse in a dark fantasy. Together, you’ll create beautiful art that lingers in the realm of dreams and nightmares. No modeling experience is required.

Wicked Wonders is hosted at Opya Studio in Pittsburgh, PA from 11:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Clean up will begin at 5:00PM.

Each set is inspired by Trinity Wendt's Halloween series of 2023. Hosted by Trinity Wendt Photography @trinitywphotography, Amber Lynn Balsinger Portraits @amberlynnportraits, Marissa "Porcelain" Violence, and Naomi Vorasiangsuk.

Each set has a main designated model to capture at different times throughout the day for 45 minutes a piece. When there is not a designated model at a set, you are welcomed and encouraged to grab a model or grab a photographer to get your own unique photos.

No main model

All of these wonderful sets are available all day. If you do not make it to the designated time for the set, you can take your own photos at your own time.

Limited lighting will be provided for each set, so it is encouraged to bring your favorite light or lights. There is plenty of natural light at Opya, but these sets really come to life with a touch of artificial lighting.

The total cost to join Wicked Wonders is $155 per person.

There are only 20 spots for photographers and 20 spots for models. If you plan on photographing and modeling, you only need one ticket and count as one person.

*There is no extra charge for anyone who wants to photograph and model.

Please note that street parking in front of Opya is limited. DO NOT park in the parking lot across from the studio, or you will be towed. There is free and paid parking garages within 2 blocks of Opya. If it is raining on the day of this event, you are welcome to drop off your equipment inside before you park your car. You can grab one of our umbrella's or bring your own.
